Programmer / Analyst
Immediate opening for Programmer / Analyst with at least 3 years experience in application design and database interaction to be a part of our professional services team.
Requirements:
- Sound academic credentials
in Computer Science, Mathematics in Engineering
or related field
- Proficient with
requirements de-composition / refinement; multidimensional
and business process modeling, or data warehouse
design preferably gained within a financial context
- Practical experience
in application design and implementation using relational
databases like SQL Server, Oracle or DB2 (DBA certification
a plus)
- Advanced SQL, SQL
scripting, views, procedures, materialized views,
query optimization, performance tuning skills
- 3+ years of extensive
VBA programming experience with specific familiarity
with the Excel object models a must
- 2+ years experience
designing, building, developing and managing complex
applications
- Familiarity with
Decision Support, OLAP, data mining, business intelligence,
data warehouse or multidimensional database technology
tools is desirable
- Familiarity with
finance and accounting and related ERP (SAP, Oracle,
Peoplesoft, Lawson) modules desirable but not required
- In-depth understanding
of performance management (planning, budgeting,
forecasting, modeling) or multidimensional analysis
and reporting is desirable but not required
- Well developed research
and analytical skills with the demonstrated ability
to rapidly assimilate knowledge, diagnose and resolve
issues
- Desire to design
and implement quality analytic applications

Key Responsibility:
Design, build, and test CONTROL® based applications working from detailed requirements / performance documents in compliance with established methodology
Support deployed application in the production environment
